Hello parents, thank you for looking over my profile! A bit about me, my childcare-style, and experience...I work/have worked with children of all ages, from infants though young adults, and I am comfortable with any age group. With over twenty-five experience as a caregiver, I am the ideal candidate to see that your kids get the positive attention that they need and deserve. Meanwhile, you have some well-earned peace of mind, whether you will be working, running errands, resting, going to college, out for date nights, et al. As a parent, it's vital to know that your children are in good hands. In addition to my early days of being a nanny, later raising a wonderful boy into adulthood, I have worked as a teacher for 10 years and in social services for two. Over the years, I've watched my friends children more times than I can count, as my Read more son was an incredibly sociable child; and most of my peers are also parents. Being a writer, artist, cook, music-lover and outdoorsy type, I encourage creative play in children and I am happy to tutor/help with study skills on the side, which is to say screen time will not be the major focus of our fun/entertainment. I'm certified in CPR/First Aid, Ed Tech, and BHP. For the most part, I'm flexible about my schedule and am open to the participating in "light housekeeping" and cooking. Though primarily seeking daytime work, I can cover some "date nights" with ample planning. I'm looking forward to meeting you and your family.
