When I was 11 years old, I started as a mothers helper for the mother next door who had just had a baby. I still care for these children occasionally and here are now three of them, ages 8, 10 and 12. I have two nieces, 3 and 5 and love playing with them. I have a lot of experience with all ages ranging from newborn to 12 years old. I love doing arts and crafts, playing outdoors with children and just having fun and keep the children active and occupied. I spent a year volunteering in New York City, in an inner city 3rd grade classroom trying to bridge the education gap and help fight the national drop out crisis.
