Hi! My name is Margaret Albrecht and I am currently working on my masters in music performance at the University of Michigan. I greatly enjoy working with children of all ages; my favorite age bracket being from 3rd to 5th grade. I have worked in both a teaching and caregiving capacity for grades k-12 as a babysitter (since middle school), clarinet and saxophone instructor (throughout my undergrad and grad), day camp counselor (Girl Scouts Heart of Michigan in Ypsilanti-Summer 2014) and resident camp counselor and instructor (Western Michigan University SEMINAR music camp-Summers 2010-2013). I am CPR and first aid trained and certified by the American Red Cross. I love all kinds of pets, but especially dogs! ( I grew up with Jack Russell terriers). Most families I have babysat for previously, have been multiple child households. I have my own transportation and have a flexible schedule. So, why should you Read more pick me? As a life-long girl scout, I have learned a good set of values and have a willingness to help (plus, a girl scout is always prepared, right?) As a musician, I have learned creativity, patience and flexibility. Lastly, as a twenty-something, I am discovering now just how wonderful my parents were and are, and that its a tough job- so anything I can do as a sitter to make that easier, I will strive to do so!
