I am free days, nights, and weekends. I have experience baby-sitting all ages. Here's a little bit about me: Throughout college, I babysat for a family with an infant and a two year old. I also led a small group at my church of around 10 highschool girls. I lead them in group activities, studies, and set up occasional trips or events for them. Although this is not "baby-sitting," it does share a lot of similarities... and having 10 high-energy Freshman in one room can make things a little hectic! :) And I still babysit, on occasion, my two year old niece, who is quite energetic and adorable! I graduated in 2012 with a Communication degree at Dominican University and, since then, worked two terms with AmeriCorps. My first year with AmeriCorps, I supervised 40 homeless women throughout the night. My second year with AmeriCorps, I was a community organizer Read more and dealt with public safety in Detroit. I just got married, moved into this area, and am looking for a short term job until we move again in May. I do not have any formal training or certifications, but I have had lots of experience handle unusual situations. At the homeless shelter, I learned to adapt and be assertive in all types of situations and with many personalities. I am fun, energetic and love kids!
