I am a recent high school graduate looking to gain more childcare experience before furthering my education and career in Early Childhood Development. I attended the TBAISD Career-Tech for my junior and senior years in the Early Childhood Education program. Through this program I was able to become CPR certified and trained in first aid. I also had the opportunity to learn how children develop from birth to adolescents and how to create developmentally appropriate activities for each of these ages and stages. I also was a student mentor for a special needs class at my home school . In which I worked one on one with students in English and reading, and well as helped the teacher with the development of lesson plans. Through working and interning with different schools and daycares, I was also able to get a job at Angelcare Childcare and preschool in the toddler room.
