I am a substitute teacher for Benzie County and Grand Traverse County. I was a mentor for the First Robotics team at Traverse City Central High School when my daughter was a student there. I am also a fine artist. I paint bright colorful landscapes in oil. I graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Art from Eastern Michigan University.
