I am the oldest of 5 children coming from a family of 7. When I was 16 or so, my parents would let me stay home to watch over my younger siblings and also any friends they may have had over. From there, I would be asked by neighbors or family friends to sit for them while they were at work or had any odd errands to run. Then, in the meantime as I grew older, I would ask around to see if anyone had needed a sitter at all. I really enjoy it, and hope to be in school real soon to obtain my CDA certificate in hopes to have my own in-home daycare or to possibly become a preschool teacher!
