My educational background is in teaching and behavior analysis, and I have worked with children in various capacities for more than 10 years. I was a nanny throughout college, and after graduating I started my professional work with adolescent girls who were unable to live with their biological families. After this, I coached/trained other professionals in providing quality care and home education to children from birth to 18. Most recently, I worked one-on-one with young children with autism and other disabilities in a clinical setting. My path has been a winding one, but I have always enjoyed working with kids and I would like to continue doing so part time while I figure out my next career steps. I know what a difference it can make when parents have a dependable, accommodating helper to get them through the week, and I'd love to offer that for the right family. I'm Read more comfortable with a variety of tasks, from tutoring to social outings to gluten free cooking to just hanging out with games or crafts.
