My name is Mandy, I am 29 years old and a single mother of a one year old boy . I am from Washington DC and recently life has brought me here . I have been babysitting and nannying on and off since I was 19 years old. I have worked for several families over the course of these past ten years. The age and number of children have varied from family to family and range anywhere from infants to 16 years old. My responsibilities and role in each house hold have varied as well. In some homes I was a nanny (usually those roles are more long term anywhere from 1-4 years), in others I was a regular baby sitter who came over for a date night, in some cases I have been a mother’s helper that picked children up from school and transported them to after school activities. Read more My most exciting experience as nanny was with a family that I was a nanny with for about two years. They were a military family who was being restationed from Arlington , VA to Guam. I was invited along and stayed with them for a few weeks while they got settled. The coolest part about this was once their time was done on Guam they came back to Arlington , VA and I was able to babysit for them again!
