Hi my name is Charlotte. I just graduated with my Bachelor's of Science in Biology from the University of Michigan. I plan to pursue medical school in the future but am working on becoming a surgical assistant in the mean time. I have been babysitting for 10 years which includes my 2 siblings as well as other families with up to 8 children. Past summers, I nannied for 3 families at the same time. Having my drivers license I was able to take the kids on "field trips" to the zoo, children's museum, waterpark, etc in order to keep them active in the summer. I have much experience with children as I have helped teach and run my mom's dance studio for 10 years. I have been trained to care for newborn babies as I am a student volunteer on the Mother/Baby unit at St. Joesph's hospital. This includes work Read more in the nursery. Believe it or not, I have saved a baby in the nursery from choking on spit-up! I have worked for 3 years with a family of triplets. There were 3 months and fresh out of the NICU when I started and had many special ways of doing things. Taking care of the 3 of them, I feel pretty equipped to handle anything. I am also equipped to deal with handicapped children as for 5 years I have been apart of OATS, a therapeutic horseback riding center which deals with children with disabilities and behavorial problems. I am a certified instructor, which allows me to combine my love of animals as well as children. I love children and would love to meet for a consultation. A typical babysitting job for myself consists of a consultation before I actually come to babysit to meet you and your children. This is when you interview me and you can introduce me to your children in a comfortable setting. If you choose me to be your babysitter, I will always arrive on time and make my best effort to do what is right for you and your children. I have attended multiple babysitter classes for certification and new ideas! I am current on my American Heart Association CPR and First Aid course. Hopefully I can be the best babysitter for you!
