I am 34, do not smoke, drink or use drugs. I love children, I have experience as a live-in nanny, housekeeper, homeschool teacher, tutor, and house manager. I read in my time off, and love to foster a love of reading and learning in children. Coming from a background that did not emphasize exercise in children, I understand the need, and try to make things fun while making sure that lots of movement is involved. I believe a nanny should be decisive and able to react quickly to changing situations. She should be knowledgeable and want to share both information and a love of learning. A nanny should be caring, compassionate and yet allow the children to set the pace for how fast to show affection. She should be willing to communicate with the parents and children, offer insights when appropriate, but respect the parent's role and not try to Read more usurp their position. A nanny is there to support the family as a whole, not just care for the children. At this point I have no idea if I am the right nanny for your family. I know what my preferences are, but I have no idea what your family does each day, nor do I have any idea what your children are like. I would love the chance to find out if we are a good fit. While I am open to working long hours, flex schedule and 24/7, I need to have a contract that reflects the family's actual needs.
