My passion is children and quality education. I am a Spanish teacher in the New Paradigm for Education Charter District in Detroit, MI. Teach for America brought me to Detroit, and I am proudly living in the community in which I teach. I am from the Atlanta area, and studied English Literature at Georgia College and State University. I am currently studying for my Master's Degree in Elementary Education part time at Oakland University. I am CPR and First Aid Certified, as well as Certified in K-6 Education and K-12 Spanish Education (think after-school tutor/nanny). I absolutely love spending time with youth, am an avid runner and photographer, and proud parent of a Jack Russell Terrier.
