I am currently a senior at Michigan State University majoring in Child Development. I plan to apply for the College of Nursing this approaching fall, with hopes of eventually becoming a pediatric nurse. I am currently employed at the Michigan State University Child Development Laboratory as a Student Teacher in a 18+ month classroom. I also work part time in the infant classroom and the 24+ month classroom at this facility. I have worked here for the past year, and the experience working with these children and watching their development has been unexplainably rewarding. Over past summers I have babysat for two children (ages 7 & 9) for the past 4 years, this is the first summer I am not babysitting these children because they have moved out of town. I am Pediatric CPR and First Aid Certified (renewed July 2015)
