I began my nursing career in 1974 and worked at Sinai Hospital of Detroit until 1985. I was a staff nurse on a post-op surgical unit for four years then became a Head Nurse for the rest of my time at Sinai. I then worked for one year at Huron Valley Hospital in the surgical intensive care unit. I have three daughters, all in their 20's, and was fortunate to be a stay at home mom. I am comfortable with children from infancy thru teen years. Currently, my husband and I live on a small farm and care for a variety of animals including dogs, cats, horses and chickens.
