I have been babysitting since I was 12, and really think kids are the best people! My own kids are 19 & 21. My son is on the autism spectrum, so I have experience with some "challenging" behaviors. I also have worked as a home health aid and currently work in the direct care support field, so I have an affinity, and just a natural inclination, towards taking care of people. I have experience working with people of all races, religions, backgrounds, and pride myself on being an accepting, loving person - not just on "paper" but in my everyday life, too. I have worked a year in a childcare center (Milestones in Belmont MI) and had to leave to do my internship for a Bachelor's degree (majoring in Sociology) and am trained in CPR/first aid, as well as nutrition, and developmental disabilities, among other things. I own cats, dog's Read more & guinea pigs, so I don't mind animals. I will happily clean and cook, have my own safe, newer car that is fully insured (and I'm 100% legal to drive with a clean record). I don't do drugs, I don't smoke, and I never drink while I'm working!
