I am a retired teacher still wanting to work work with kids! I retired when my husband had some medical problems that required my full attention. Thankfully, he is doing well but, I still want to work with children. I have done babysitting for many of my neighbor's children and for families connected with my own children's school. Although this was many years ago, I have hands on experience raising 4 children of my own. I am proud to say that all my children are grown, have completed university studies and are now gainfully employed. I am a very organized and trustworthy individual that will give more that 100% to any job. I am very flexible and am not shaken when schedules change. I can even sit on weekends and for out of town events as long as I have some notice. I am looking for a long term position Read more as I plan to work for another 5-6 years. I have my own transportation, enjoy reading to children and assisting with homework. I am not opposed to helping with simple household chores in the home as long as the child is the first priority.
