As the eldest child in my family, I have grown up interacting with, babysitting, and care giving for my younger siblings and cousins. Additionally, I have babysat for/nannied children in my neighborhood frequently. I also have helped foreign children with their homework after school. Currently, I am a tutor for the America Reads program through the University of Michigan. This position requires academic-related communication, mentoring and interaction with elementary students who struggle with reading and writing skills.
