Being the youngest of 7 children, I was in my early teens when my first nephew was born, and thus began my baby sitting career. Though I'm not sure it could be classified as a career since I have never been financially compensated for my time... just great memories. Now 15 nephews and nieces later, I can confidently say I have the "Cool Aunt" thing down pat. I tend to be a little old school with time, I love reading and encouraging imagination though activities. I reinforce manners and seem to go partially deaf if the word "please" does not accompany a request. I am very comfortable around animals, having several of my own.
