I have professional experience taking care of children with autism as well as children who are not on the spectrum. My first job was at a summer camp caring for children ages 4-9. This was a seasonal position and ended at the end of the summer. I had great reviews from both parents and children as well as my fellow staff. My previous job was at a center for children with autism that had a day-care feel. The children were fed lunch, given snacks, had social and circle time many times throughout the day. Our main goal was to pair ourselves with children and teach them things that may be harder for them to learn in school such as reading, writing, spelling, speech, and social skills. I had this job for a year before resignation.
