I started caregiving at the age of 16 when my mothers best friend was in an accident leaving her quadrapalegic. I then took a job doing in home care from loving caring hands, after that I moved to green bay and spent 7 years working with and managing a home for the developmentally disabled. I also did respite care work for an agency called Aspiro in Green Bay wisconsin. I only left due to moving back to michigan. I have 4 boys of my own and one going into 8th grade, one 5th, one going into second grade and the youngest is 3. Three out of the four all are special needs with various diagnosis' ranging from aspergers to ADHD and anxiety. I am wonderful with kids and very medically inclined. I am a certified Med Tech as well as spent from 2005-2014 as a CNA. My license expired due Read more to staying home to care for my youngest son. I live a block from Woodland Elementary school and have my own transportation, car seats, ect.. I am a people person and very patient with children. I love to do activities and be an advocate for kids with disabilities helping in any way i can. I am also a published author as well and a waitress at JR's pub and grill on friday nights. I am available all weekday mornings. I am also First Aid, Standard precautions, and CPR certified although I havent had a refresher in a bit. I am a mother of four boys, patient, kind, and responsible. I don't drink alchohol neither socially or recreationally nor do I do any kind of drugs and in this town those are key qualities to have. I also have a son that recieves respite care and my worker is a lovely girl as well. I know the challenges and also know that a disability doesn't make a child incapable of being incredibly talented in other areas not related to their disability.
