I am a recent graduate of the University of Illinois, where I double-majored in Psychology & Spanish and minored in Communication. Currently, I am a school psychology doctoral student at MSU. I have a passion for children and have had a variety of experiences working with them. I began babysitting when I was 16 years old and have babysat children ranging from ages 2-13. I also worked as a nanny for four summers for three children. The most children I have babysat for at one time was five. Continually, I worked for two years as a camp counselor for a Christian summer day-camp until I was promoted to Co-director. I have worked as a Co-director for 4 years now. As co-director, it was my responsibility to oversee the activities of the camp counselors and campers, design a summer curriculum with educational and recreational activities, provide a safe environment, and supervise Read more the campers on field trips, at the pool, and at camp. I have also had experience tutoring elementary-aged children. At the University of Illinois, I served as an after school tutor at a bilingual elementary school where I tutored individual students in reading, writing, language (vocab), and math. I really enjoy being around children!
