I started babysitting when I was 8 years old. Boy, times have changed! I won't tell you how old I am, but I'll tell you I am a mother of 3 (11 y.o. boy, 8 y.o. boy, 5 y.o. girl). I have experience with children of all ages. I am a single mom with a full time job with the state but I am looking for babysitting jobs every other weekend (when my kids are at their dad's) to supplement my income. I am hoping to take my kids to FLORIDA with extended family during their fall break this year. Watching kids in my home is also a possibility, even when I have my own kids, depending on whether a family is comfortable with that. I interviewed and hired two great sitters through a website like this, so I am aware that different families and sitters have different comfort levels.
