Hi,   I'm Modie!   I graduated from Central Michigan University with a Bachelor in Fine Arts in Musical Theatre. I performed in regional theaters before heading to Paju, South Korea. For two years I've performed overseas at an Educational Theme Park English Village. At English Village I wrote, directed, and starred in ESL children's Musical Theatre shows. While in South Korea I was able to tutor small children.  I LOVE children! I believe that every child is unique and special. After working in South Korea I discovered my true passion for teaching. Seeing the “light bulb” click when a child understands something truly brings joy and sometimes tears to my eyes. I believe that each and every child is a gift from God.   I love helping people and I have often been called the “Mother” of the group. I've babysat for many years and have been a nanny Read more for three families.  I  took a year out of my life to help raise my niece Tina.  I stayed at home with her full time.  I know the challenges and hard work that goes into raising a small child. My favorite role to date is being "Auntie Modie" for my three beautiful nieces. I understand how important it is to trust someone enough to leave them with your children.  I am honest, caring, responsible, loyal and passionate.   With my performance background I know how to have fun.  I believe I have a gift with the little ones.  I once went to an educational conference on how to be a better teacher and the instructor said "children love big animated things.."
