For the past 10 years or so I have been babysitting for both family and friends. My younger sister and I are 11 years apart, which has allowed me to gain a great deal of experience starting at a young age. I am comfortable and equipped to care for all ages from infants to teenagers. As a college student, I have transitioned to less babysitting and more jobs that allow me to work with children. I previously worked in a day care as well as at a summer enrichment program. Currently, I am enrolled at Northern Michigan University as a Spanish major with a minor in social services. Pursing this minor has allowed me to take several classes in which I studied child development. Having this education in addition to my previous experiences has allowed me to be able to interact with children in highly beneficial ways.
