This year I am a freshman at Central Michigan University with a major in clinical exercise science and a minor in psychology. I graduated from a small high school in Grand Rapids. I grew up with 3 younger brothers, the youngest being autistic, so I do have a lot of experience around children with developmental issues. Both my sophomore and junior years of high school I got to go on mission trips, the first was doing a vbs with the kids in an impoverished neighborhood in Trinidad, the second was working with boys at a orphanage in Honduras. I’ve been babysitting my hole life and the summer before senior year I worked as a camp counselor for 6-10 year olds and this past summer I worked at a ranch in Colorado as a cowpoke counselor(6-12). I definitely have a big passion for children and my end career goal is to Read more work with kids as either a pediatric nurse or a pediatrician.
