I love to see the wonderment of childhood in action! My training has taught me that brain development in the early years is crucial, & I employ the "Learning Through Play" approach. I do not believe in adhering to a curriculum, but instead focus on exploring the world through the 5 senses. I am very passionate about helping children overcome sensory issues. I have worked extensively with 2 children that were under the care of a food therapist. I have worked with children with behavioral issues, & children on the autism spectrum as well. I have extensive experience in caring for multiple children at once. I have served as a church Youth Leader for ages 11-19, & a Sunday School teacher for ages 3-10. I have cared for twins from newborn-age 5. I have taken many early childhood training classes, & I have been both a Preschool Lead Teacher & Read more an Infant Primary Lead in a childcare center (where I cared for 4 babies by myself every day), in addition to in-home nanny positions. My specialty is newborn-age 5, but I am experienced in all ages up to 18. Heartsaver Pediatric First Aid CPR AED. Fully COVID vaccinated.
