Kayla applied for consideration of a nanny position I posted. She initially seemed quite enthusiastic. However, when we set a time and date for a phone interview, Kayla did not answer and did not respond for a day to my phone message. A day later she gave an excuse of illness, but when we set a breakfast interview at a local bakery a few days later, Kayla did not show up. She later claimed to have been involved in a traffic accident. My last attempt to interview Kayla was a few days later, and again Kayla did not show up to interview. Of note, Kayla's reference is her mother - for whom there is no childcare pertinent experience.
