Hello! My name is Heather and I have been babysitting since I was 13 years old. From the neighbor next door to my own little brother who was born when I was 16, I definitely grew up loving children. When I turned 18 I began work at Preston Children's Academy in Cary, NC while attending school online. For 2 1/2 years I worked at Preston, starting in the infant room for the first year and the last year and a half in the Pre-K room. I have experience in all ages and can provide references if interested. I love taking children on adventures, creating new stories, arts and crafts and dancing. I believe children thrive when they are showered with love and laughter. I can teach basic sign language, can help tutor children, and can help them learn to write their letters and numbers. I have a child of my Read more own who is 20 months old who is such a joy! He would come with me on most days.
