Hello, my name is Kathleen Kubiak and I am writing in regards to possible employment. I am a highly capable and competent childcare worker with roughly 15 years experience in the field. I have worked with children, ages ranging from infant to school-aged, and I do have some familiarity with special needs children. I have been employed as a camp counselor, a nanny, an assistant teacher and a lead teacher. I have experience in both a home and classroom setting. There have been a few breaks in my childcare work, though, ultimately I am looking to broaden my career in the ever growing field of early childhood education. My experience in the classroom includes supervising and caring for up to 24 children, both with and without the aide of assistants. I have had great success with potty training, and helping children learn the everyday life skills they need in order to develop independence. I am a team player and am always open to suggestions and new ideas. I understand when entering a setting with a working routine in place, it is important to be able to adapt. I am a loyal, honest and empathetic employee/coworker, as well as caring and nurturing with children. I find it very rewarding seeing the growth and development of the children I got to have positive influence over. Overall, I have a strong ambition for working with children, and full intentions of one day operating/owning my own center.
