I have been connecting with and caring for kids for as long as I can remember--All of my cousins are younger than me, and I have spent a lot of time around babies and young children. As a teenager I lead a play/babysitting group for 3-5-year-old children at my synagogue on Saturday mornings. I taught middle and high school art classes a few years ago at a Hebrew High School in Newton, MA. For the last several years I have been involved with children's play spaces in Children's Museums and in the growing Adventure Playground movement. Last year I taught Jewish History twice a week at a Hebrew school program for Middle Schoolers and tutored small groups of 3rd through 5th graders in Hebrew reading once a week at the same Hebrew school. I also spent a month as an assistant teacher in a pre-k classroom.
