I have babysat kids in my area since I was 12 years old when I became a certified babysitter through the Red Cross and have always known I wanted to work with children, in high school I took the time to volunteer in my community (ie. Running reading groups, organizing community Christmas parties, and helping with the homecoming parade). I also attended the Early Childhood Education program through RESA where I studied the development and learning styles of young school aged children. At the end of that program I interned at a local Pre-school when I am now currently working part time when I'm not attending classes at Lansing Community College. I have experience watching upwards of 4 kids at a time, with the youngest being 4 months old. Personally I enjoy hiking through the woods, a good book, and all arts and crafts.
