I have many years of experience caring for children, beginning when I was 10. Children tend to be drawn to me, and me to them. I am the type of caregiver that believes in using daily routine as an opportunity to teach. I love to play, laugh, cuddle, read, and explore with children. Structure is important, but flexibility is a must. I know first hand how difficult it is to leave your children, and how comforting it can be to know that they are being cared for by someone you trust. I believe that a great caregiver is one that truly loves your child and can create an environment for them that, as closely as possible, replicates their daily routine with their family. Beyond the care of the children I also feel it's imperative to support the parents in the emotional ups and downs that come with raising children as Read more well as being reliable and available. I am in search of a family that needs part time help. I am completely comfortable with, and have a great deal of experience with pets. I am happy to do housework (cooking, cleaning, laundry, etc.). I enjoy doing arts and crafts, singing, dancing, playing games, cooking together, joking, and generally having fun. I enjoy an active lifestyle that includes plenty of outdoor play and exploration. I have experience with children of all ages and with siblings of close age. I have a lot of experience with homework help as well as social and academic difficulties. I believe my ideal fit would be with a family that would like their nanny to grow with them, supporting them through the years.
