Where do I even start. I always babysat when I was in high school. Some were consistent others where just for a Friday night. Then when I went to college at Otterbein University in Westerville, OH I started nannying for a family. They had twin girls who were 13 months old when I started. These girls where just diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes when I started. First I was just coming a couple times a week while I was in class. In the summer I would be a full time nanny. Watching these girls continue to love, care, grow, and have no worry in the world even with a disease showed me how much I love kids! I love helping them grow into the person they will be. Help them develop social and fundamental skills. One of my favorite things is to take kids outside and get them familiar with Read more nature. That could be from taking walks, playing hide and seek, going to the zoo, the playground etc. My passion for kids continues to grow every day. I recently was a preschool assistant which i loved. Teaching these kids lessons from them to succeed in school was very rewarding. Watching the excitement on a little kiddo who just cut siccsors for the first time or was able to write their name is priceless to see. I hope I'm a good fit for you and your family. Thanks Lauren!
