My name is Cody, I am currently attending Western Michigan University as a pre-education major. My previous experience working with kids dates back to 2012. I was a babysitter for a family of 5: 1 with special needs. When I was in High School I entered a teaching class which allowed me to have an internship in Vicksburg, Michigan working aside a kindergarten teacher for 1.5 hours a day. My senior year I was able to take the course in the afternoon allowing for 4 hours of experience a day. This internship allowed me to enter my first job, a recess supervisor monitoring grades BK-5th in the lunchroom and playground. After graduation I became a substitute paraprofessional at the school, and eventually was moved to full time. This position always kept me on my feet, and helped grow my love of kids.
