My name is Leanna. I am 21 years old and absolutely adore children. My mom had a daycare at our home when I was little and I have always been around children. As a little girl I wanted to grow up to be a kindergarten teacher. I have taken child development courses and parenting in high school. I have taken CPR and babysitting classes at my local recreational center. I was also a teacher/helper in our preschool program in high school. I am currently attending Oakland Community College. I am majoring in healthcare management and minoring in child development. I plan to transfer to EMU in a year. My favorite thing to do while babysitting is crafts. I love being able to teach a child the importance of creativity. I currently have 4 cousins under the age of 3 that I adore interacting with.
