Hello! My name is Kira and caring for children (and animals!) has always brought me great joy. I am the eldest of 4 and played a large role caring for my siblings, 7 and 9 years younger than me, from infancy to early adolescence. In 2012, I graduated from Eastern Michigan University with a degree in Psychology with a focus on Child & Adolescent Development. After graduating, I moved to Seattle where I provided care for 5 families, children aged 3-months to 6 years old. In 2014, I moved to Sacramento, CA for a Volunteer Manager position. In 2015, I traveled and volunteered throughout 9 countries in Europe and returned to Seattle in Jan 2016. I play the ukulele, speak some French and enjoy volunteering in my spare time. I believe that each child is a unique individual on their own path through development.
