My name is Katie, and I am passionate about working with children! For a long time I considered becoming a social worker, but found that the field of education is my true calling. I graduated with a Bachelor’s of Science in Education in December 2019 with the highest honors; summa cum laude. I will be moving to the Appleton, Wisconsin area in 2020. I enjoy working with children and seeing them thrive. I have had the opportunity to teach at different grade levels throughout my education at UW-River Falls. I also have experience working with students with disabilities and who come from multicultural backgrounds. Additionally, I will be a licensed teacher in Wisconsin soon! I have also worked as a camp counselor in South Range, Wisconsin. I had the opportunity to work with both foster children and church groups by engaging them in outdoor activities.
