Hello my name is Hanna Johansen. I graduated from the University of Northwestern St Paul, MN with a BS in Psychology. I've been around kids from the time I was 8 years old. My mom used to do her own daycare from home so I had the pleasure of spending time with kids at a young age. My babysitting jobs kick started when I was 12 years old and ever since I've been active in childcare. I have babysat for various families around my neighborhood and am still an active weekend sitter. I also babysat for church parents while they attended a bible study. That consisted of myself and a friend looking after 20+ kids once a week. As I got older and more qualified with kids, I realized that I could seriously be a nanny. This meant I could have a special bond with the children and the family. Read more Starting in 2015 I was a nanny for two children; a brother and sister ages 7 and 9. I would pick them up from school, take to after school activities, we would go to the park everyday, prepared meals and ate with the kids, and enforced daily reading times. Occasionally I would stay late enough to tuck the kids in bed. I moved to Texas in 2016 so I had to stop nannying for that family but I am back in Minnesota now. In 2016 I was a nanny for a family with two school aged girls. This included picking them up from school, driving them to various after school activities, providing snacks, homework help, enforcing chores and reading time, and preparing meals as needed. The oldest girl was getting to the age where their mom felt she was responsible enough to be alone so she no longer needed me. Since then I have been searching for a new family to serve. I find being a nanny and fostering in the development of children is the most rewarding aspect of my career. Looking forward to hearing from you soon!
