I graduated from Bethel University with a degree in Social Work this past May. I have babysat for a variety of families over the past 7 years. The families I used to babysit for regularly do not need me much anymore because their children are getting older, but I have experience babysitting multiple kids and caring for pets. Usually, I babysit children in early education and grade school. I also have experience with toddlers. I enjoy caring for kids of all ages because I love experiencing different levels of energy and learning towards different activites. I do not have any children of my own, but I have a small dog named Sadie. She is a yorkie-poo with lots of energy! In the past I have been involved in volunteer work through my church and on mission trips. I'm only fluent in English but I have a small understanding of Sign Read more Language. It is such an interesting language to me and I love teaching basic words and phrases to kids! One thing I believe can be beneficial for kids when babysitting is spending time outdoors: going for walks, playing in the sprinkler, etc. I grew up in a setting that was directed more towards playing outdoors than sitting in front of a screen for hours. Movies and shows are still fun and enjoyable, but I would love to play with the kids outside any chance we get!
