My career goals are to proceed studying at University Minnesota Duluth college to get my doctorate and become a pharmacist. I would also like to study abroad in Australia. Studying abroad for me would be such a neat experience because I would not only get to learn about another culture and traditions, but could also teach them my own. It would also help me build my skills on trying new ideas and adjusting to people whose life styles are different from mine. I was inspired to become a pharmacist at a young age. My mom has always worked in health care and I explored my career options in the health field as a young child I was trying to figure out what occupation I would most enjoy doing. I wanted something that I would be able to never stop learning as I became more experienced with my job. Math and Read more science also deal with pharmacy and they have always been some of my stronger subjects. I also enjoy helping people and I feel like being involved in the medical field is one of the best ways to do that. The medical field will always be around in our society and will always need new generations to fill in spots. Overall I plan to make time to study but also enjoy all the different aspects college has to offer. Grades are important to me and I believe are a strong component when applying for an occupation. Time management is also important even if it varies from getting an assignment done for class, an application, or a meeting with a client in my profession. Going to college is important for me because I see that multiple more doors of opportunities open up for people who have degrees. If I would decide to change my major later on in college or switch occupations, I would have the base of my degree to lead off from verses someone who does not go to college has to start from the very beginning. With so much changing in our society, especially with technology, I think it is important for students to attend college so we can work together to make a better environment for our selves, the ones around us, and future generations. I enjoy being around kids and would like to have three-five of my own someday. I am involved in multiple volunteer clubs at UMD along with the pre-pharmacy club, dance club, biochemistry club, and so much more. I love working with others and have lots of energy. I currently am in school but have a flexible schedule.
