My experience with kids started with having young family members, close cousins, I always enjoyed having them over and babysitting them. Then when I was in high school I peer tutored for a first grade class one year, and the following year for mentally disabled students. I realized I loved what I was doing so I got a job as a personal care assistant taking care of disabled children. Soon after I graduated high school I got my CNA through the state of Minnesota, and started working in nursing homes. Although I love caring for the elderly, I would love more than anything to be working with children. I am CPR and first aid certified.
