Hi- I have always loved being with children and was lucky enough to get to stay at home with my son and daughter as they grew up. They're big now, I'm needing to do something with my time and talent, and I'd love to help care for children who need care, attention and nurturing while parents are away. While raising my children, I volunteered constantly in the Edina Schools, and have also worked as a paraprofessional in Edina classrooms. I've led Bible School, Sunday School, and Art Masterpiece, and before I had children, I worked for Edina Kids Club and Edina Family Center. I attended the Edina Family Center with both my children, for a total of 11 parenting classes during those important first years. I have taken First Aid and CPR classes, and would be open to updating my certification.
