Hello! I just recently moved to the Seattle area and am looking to connect with great families for occasional weekday evening and weekend sitting. A little about me: I am a Speech-Language Pathologist, most recently working with middle and high school students. I'v also worked as a lead preschoolteacher for three years, and as a head counselor and as assistant director at a day camp, a position in which I oversaw 100+ children ages K-6 and managed a staff of over 50 preteen, teenager, and college counselors. I have babysat and nannied for many families and have extensive experience with all ages and abilities. I have 12 units in Early Childhood Education, a B. A. in Spanish and a B. A in International Relations from UC Davis, a B. S. in Communicative Disorders from Utah State University, and an M. Ed in Speech-Language Pathology from the University of Virginia. I Read more love crafts, baking, and being outdoors, among other fun and engaging activities!

Julie was a god send for us. We had a wedding a few weeks ago in Charlottesville that our original plans for childcare fell through. I had never really used this site and was directed to it by our sitter here to help find someone to help us at our hotel in Charlottesville. Julie had wonderful references and even agreed to FaceTime with us to ease the transition for our youngest. She was punctual, professional, and easy going. My boys had a fantastic time and she checked in with us with photos and videos of the kids. Really wish she lived closer because we definitely would hire her on a permanent basis. She was outstanding and your children will be in great hands.
