At the age of eleven my sister moved out and I was hired to take her babysitting jobs. Most weeks included time with my cousins, neighbors and surrounding locals. Over the course of my 11 years in babysitting I have developed into someone who can take care of any age child that is in any physical or emotional state. I have loved working with babies in the past and hope to continue to hold them in my cradling arms. However I also enjoyed working with autistic children at my bible camp in the summer. Right now I am in a transition stage where many of the ones I babysat are all grown up and don't need me to look after them anymore. On a side note: A bit about me I am a Junior at Luther college in Iowa studying in Social Work with an art minor. In my free time I enjoy crafting, singing, going for bike rides or walks, and plenty more! I have a job at college where I work with disabled children in the community on goals specifically for each individual. I am mostly looking for a summer job however I also provide care for my grandmother a few days a week and will need time off the spend with her.
