I have little twin brothers that are 8 years younger than me. I spent a majority if not all of my time with them, caring for them (bathing, cooking and feeding, transporting to different activities including swimming lessons, putting them to bed as well as getting them up in the morning for school / extracurricular a, etc.) With that, I found that I really enjoy the responsibility of caring for others, especially babies and infants. I have babysat, taken care pets, and been a housekeeper for many families throughout my teen and young adult life. I was a PCA through MRCI Worksource in Mankato for about 4-5 months until the children I watched were no longer available through MRCI, I can provide referrals if preferred. For the child I was a PCA for I tended to her daily needs such as making food / feeding, taking her to doctors appointments, Read more giving her meds as prescribed, bathing, and doing fun activities like swimming and going to the park. I am a hands on worker so I find that games such as puzzles, interactive books, coloring, and anything that requires movement in addition to testing your knowledge are the most beneficial ways to learn and improve. I have a 2013 Chevrolet Impala LTZ that is very well taken care of and in near perfect running condition that I can use to do whatever is needed (doctor appointments, extracurricular, etc.) I enjoy spending time with people and getting to know others. I am very outgoing, friendly, empathetic, energetic, and I like to think I’m intelligent. I have always been a people pleaser and I love making others happy. I would also like to add that I am a very organized and clean individual. I can do any work around the house that I am asked to do. I was raised in a house where deep cleaning at least one scheduled day a week was a requirement. I have cleaning supplies as well that can be used if needed. I am willing to go above and beyond for those I work with and am caring for. I love going out of my way for others so if there is ever anything needed I always like to make sure others know that they should never be afraid to ask for help / favors. I currently am a full time shift lead at Walgreens and I absolutely love it I just need something in addition to it to fill up my spare time. I think babysitting, housekeeping, nannying, etc. would be a great addition to my schedule!
