Hello... I am not a trained "nanny" but I am an experienced caregiver who's raised my own child (from public school to ivy league) and is the "infant whisperer" for the children of my extended family. I returned to Minneapolis last summer, after 4 years in Portland, OR, caring for my working sister's children (from when Walter was 1 and through Junie's arrival and first year), and babysitting for her friends. I've spent the last 6 months working for a Northeast, Minneapolis working mom and her wonderful infant son. They've decided to relocate to Ohio, and will be leaving in mid-April. I'm looking for a gig with a Northeast/Southeast Minneapolis family with an infant. I'm tech-comfortable and familiar with the concerns of working parents and their love of daily updates. I'm active and an all-weather walker (comfortable with strollers, Bjorns, carriers, etc). I'm comfortable with the challenges of bottle feeding Read more "breastie" babies. I am versed in early childhood development, and – having lived in Portland, OR – comfortable with organics, even chickens, and will happily work within your parenting style. And I am up-to-date on all vaccinations. I don't own a car (for fitness and eco reasons), but I do drive (stick/automatic), bike, and have accounts with Lyft/Uber, as needed. I love dogs and cats (pretty much equally). I'm available days, but can also be available for occasional or designated evenings (even working parents need to get out sometimes ).
