I have been providing part time nanny and babysitting services since I was around 13 years old. I used this site heavily while I was in college and am just now returning in Dec 2018. I have since graduated, hold a professional job and have a 3 year old son. I have cared for children of all ages, and tend to have a preference toward toddlers. I've worked with 1 or 2 children and have also nannied for very large families. I am available some evenings, weekends, and early mornings. I am also available Friday during the day. As a mother, I am very cognizant of the role that great babysitters play in a child's life. I would love to bring my son with me, or I can leave him at home with his Dad if you prefer.

Shanae was hired to babysit for me a month in advance for a two day training I had to attend for work. I checked in a week prior to make sure that she was still available and she said yes. I then called the day before and left a mesage checking in to make sure that she would be there. She send me a text saying "I will no longer be able to make it ; sorry it is such short notice." I asked her why? What happened? Never heard back with an explanation. Not very courteous and inconsiderate.

Shanae has watched our now 10 month-old son two times and our son loves her. The first time he met her, he crawled right over to her and felt very comfortable with her. I can tell that Shanae is a natural with young children. Shanae also makes sure to be near her phone so that I can call her or text her at any time. I will always worry when I am away from my baby, but knowing that Shanae is with my son, helps me worry much less : )

Shanae has a disposition that children are naturally drawn to. My 10-month old reached out his arms for her to hold him within 30 seconds of meeting her, which he NEVER does. She understands what babies need and knows how to engage and play with them. Shanae's also always very prompt and professional in her communication with me. I plan to have Shanae babysit as much as possible!

Everything about my interaction with Shanae has been extraordinary. She's a wonderful communicator, making it very easy to work out times, circumstances and payments for the babysitting work she does. She's always warm, professional and punctual (even at 6 a.m. on a Saturday). She babysits our 3yr. old daughter and 11yr. old son often and they're always excited when they get to hang out with her. My husband and I have the upmost confidence that our kids are safe, happy and well taken care of. Best babysitter we've ever had.
