As a child care provider it has always been my goal to be nurturing and caring while being a good role model for the children. After leaving my last nanny position that was from 1999 to 2005 I found I missed having young children to care for and families to support. In 2006 I found some sitting jobs through a local nanny agency and sat for those families for about 3 years. As the situations change with the children getting older, my daughter told me about Sittercity. I joined Sittercity in 2008. Now some of the children I have been sitting for are growing up and my services are no longer needed. So I am looking for a few new families to sit for in the evenings. I have six children of my own. I have been involved with childcare since I was ten, when I began babysitting. I earned my first Read more girl scout badge for child care. I have worked as a nanny for over 10 years. At the present time, I am working full time during the day and have been sitting in the evenings for the past 6 years. I am looking to build a relationship with a few new families who would use me to babysit on a regular basis. Please note that I have not had a review since 2012 and that is because I still sit for some of the families. My CPR and First aid are valid through March of 2015.

Mary is the first one I call when I need a sitter for my infant daughter. She is extremely experienced with children, on-time, friendly and responsible. Mary even agreed to meet with me and my daughter ahead of time just to be sure we were a good fit for each other. As a new resident of Minnesota, it has been difficult to find a responsible and trustworthy sitter like Mary. She is truly a gem. Mary has been sitting for us for over a year for our now 7 and 5 year olds. She does a great job with our kids; she is wonderful both at making sure what needs to happen happens (dinner, bedtime, clean-up) and is equally wonderful about creative play with the kids.

Mary did a tremendous job with our 21 month old and 3 yr old. She was extremely prompt, mature, gentle and kind. She quickly made a connection with our kids. She even cleaned up the kitchen and play area. We will definitely have her back again. Thank you, Mary!

Mary did a wonderful job watching our two children, a 3 year old boy and an infant daughter. First off she had excellent references. When she watch our kids, we found her to be very gentle, kind, right on time, she even cleaned up afterward, which is hard to come by these days. I would highly recommend her to any family. We ourselves already have her set to come for two more dates.
