My name is Lauren! I am an extremely outgoing, active, passionate, responsible and sometimes silly 28-year-old. I was born and raised in Minnesota. On my off day's you will never find me indoors. I enjoy all sports, camping, horseback riding, concerts and camping, horseback riding, concerts, volunteering in my community but most of all spending time with my family and friends. As long I can remember I have always wanted to be a mother. I feel as if I have a unspoken bond with children. I started babysitting at an early age the kids in my neighborhood, my little sister and i'm not ashamed to admit my stuffed animals. All throughout junior high and high school I volunteered as a PCA in the special-needs program at my elementary school. I also was a camp counselor for the YMCA for seven years. I realized during my time volunteering and working with Read more the YMCA that I wanted to make being a caregiver into my career. After high school I decided to go to a nearby community college for my generals and early education program. During my two years of College I need for two different families and opened my own pet sitting business. After college I went to work for Kinder care. I had the opportunity to work with every age group and then I was granted the title of lead infant teacher. I spent a little over a year with Kender care before I decided to started my own in home daycare. I had nine kids ranging from three months to five years old. I did this for two years and loved every second of it. I am still in contact and babysit on a regular basis for The families that are still in the area. Currently I am working towards being CNA certified and ultimately becoming A Registered nurse.
