Let me start by saying I absolutley love kids! I current intern in the mental health field with kids from ages 5-18 who struggle with mental health and addiction. Outside of my internship for graduate school I have 3 nieces and 1 nephew who I am very involved with. I am comfortable with all ages and have worked with a range ages from infants to teenagers. My most current and reoccurring experience is with my siblings kids. With little ones I believe in learning through play. Children can learn skills such as conflict resolution, being a team player, patience and more with a kind caregiver. As children get older I believe it is still important to engage their minds in a fun way that will help the grow as individuals.
